MBA Programme

Union Christian College Association started a new technical institute after getting approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) (Institution Id: 1-8170961) in the year 2001 under the name and style of Union Christian College for conducting MBA Programme. The campus extends over an area of 2.8 acres. This Institute is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India with a sanctioned intake of 60 per year.

The regular academic programme is supplemented by seminars, workshops, self development and communication sessions and aptitude reinforcement modules. The prime values of discipline, punctuality and commitment are emphasized. The objective is to produce quality software professionals who are also excellent human beings.

The department has an ideal infrastructure for running this programme which includes a seminar hall with a seating capacity of 250, fully fledged Internet Lab, Smart Classrooms and a well-stocked and expanding Library.

Unique Features

The Institute gives emphasis not only on academics but also on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the Integral Development of the students. The Department plans and conducts various activities which enable the students to strive for social justice and the upliftment of the poor and the underprivileged sections of the society keeping in mind the Vision, Mission, Goals and objectives of the College.

  • Scholarships/ Fee Concessions: The College management is committed to the task of mobilizing resources to assist the deserving students. Every year half fee concessions are awarded based on merit cum need, after inviting applications from the first year students. This will be continued for the second year and third year only if consistently good academic record is maintained. Special financial assistance is offered to economically backward students having good academic record.

 

  • Semester Topper Award: Semester topper of the University Examination is granted fee waiver in the succeeding semester.

 

  • Open House: The faculty, parents and student sit together to discuss the various aspects related to improving the academic and overall development of the student and suggest improvements. The strengths and weaknesses of the student is given due importance, in these discussions.

 

  • Value Education Program: In addition to University curriculum, we impart an education based on permanent values that can withstand the test of time. Value Education Programme is a means of providing students the philosophy of living to facilitate their overall growth, development, and choices so that they may integrate themselves into the community with respect, confidence, and purpose.

 

  • Extra Curricular Activities: The College gives equal importance to extra-curricular activities which includes Orientation Programmes, Residential Camps, Personality Development Programmes and Aptitude Training Programmes.
